Gretchen was our first GSD, and so she holds a special place here. She will never be a Champion and an injury has prevented her from finishing her CDX. Still, her job in the house is keeping the younger dogs in line, particularly her son Jack.

Gretchen still rules the roost at more than 12 years old. She is insanely mischievous and considers it a personal affront if we consider limiting her activity or, in any way, telling her to take it easy. She is the epitome of 'young at heart.'  May it always be so.
